Some members of the VetSalus Scandinavian team have recently been involved in supporting a Danish government think tank initiative. The project was led by Tænketanken Frej (think tank) who acted as facilitators and published the concluding summary document but the workshop brought together a wide range of interested parties, including farmers, vets, the pharmaceutical industry, food producers and researchers.
Following the successful launch of the UK Veterinary Factsheet at the 2023 BCVA Congress, VetSalus and Vet Sustain are delighted to be launching an updated version for New Zealand farm veterinary professionals at this year’s NZVA conference in Christchurch.
VetSalus has just launched a new climate tool designed to make it easier for veterinarians to report climate data. This tool helps veterinarians meet the demands for climate data from partners, creditors, and customers – particularly relevant for livestock veterinarians who need to provide data to farmers participating in climate audits.

We are delighted to announce that Katrine Lawaetz has taken on the role as Chair of VetSalus. Katrine is a highly qualified and experienced veterinarian with a background in veterinary practice with a focus on dairy herd health, disease, and reproduction. Her veterinary work has been dedicated to Herd Health Management, Animal welfare, and she has until now been active as chairman for VetSalus Scandinavia.
